LOW CARBON BUILDING AWARD

Please consider the below points when submitting your entry.

  1. Carbon Reduction: Demonstrate measurable reductions in embodied carbon, operational carbon, or both, supported by clear data and, where possible, comparison against a baseline or industry benchmark.

  2. Design Approach: Show how carbon reduction was considered from the earliest design stages, including material choices, structural efficiency and building form.

  3. Technology and Innovation: Highlight the technologies, systems or construction methods used to achieve lower-carbon outcomes, whether established solutions applied in a new way or genuinely novel approaches.

  4. Evidence and Data: Provide the supporting data behind any carbon claims, whether through embodied carbon assessments, energy modelling, or post-occupancy monitoring.

  5. Wider Impact: Demonstrate how the project's approach could be replicated or has influenced carbon reduction practice more widely, whether within the organisation or across the sector.
